SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSES IN TENERIFE

Canarias Cultural - Spanish School in Tenerife - offers the following
Spanish language courses:



Intensive Spanish language courses consists of 20 Spanish classes/week: 4 a day. There are 4 standards in this Spanish course: Beginners Spanish language courses, Elemental Spanish courses, Intermediate- and Advanced- Spanish courses. This type of Spanish language course starts every Monday.

DELE - preparation Spanish language courses are variable in duration and intensity. The DELE Spanish course will prepare you for the final, official DELE (Diploma de Español como Lingua Extranjera) diploma.

Part time Spanish language courses last 12 weeks, starting at the beginning of each month. There are two hours of classes a day, two days a week. This type of Spanish course has the same 4 standards as a intensive Spanish course.

An individual Spanish language course can start on any day of the week throughout the year. The hours per week and total duration is variable depending on your requirements.

Spanish Culture, Literature, Spanish History and Art Courses start at an intermediate level of the Spanish language, which is the same for Commercial and Tourist Spanish Course. These types of Spanish courses last 4 weeks and students can only join at the start of the Spanish course. This Spanish course will be given immediately after the morning intensive Spanish language courses.

In general, Spanish language classes last 45 minutes and will be given from Monday to Friday, except on official bank holidays, when there will be no classes. Part time Spanish course classes will last for 120 minutes without a break.

The number of students in a group will be a maximum of ten and a minimum of three pupils. If the minimum group size is not met, those enrolled for that Spanish language course will be informed in advance and they will be offered an alternative.

The Final Attendance Certificate is included in the total price of all Spanish courses. Teaching material is included in the price for students enrolled in an intensive Spanish language course (minimum 4 weeks). All other students will have to pay for their text books apart.

LEVEL, STANDARD AND OBJECTIVES
Our courses are divided into these four standards:
STANDARD SPANISH COURSES
GENERAL OBJETIVES OF THE SPANISH LANGUAGE COURSES
BEGINNER STANDARD SPANISH COURSE
  • For students to have an initial contact with the Spanish language.
  • To master basic Spanish grammar structures.
  • To construct and understand basic, every day Spanish communication situations.
  • Acquire a basic Spanish vocabulary.
  • Initiation in basic spoken situations with practical Spanish communication exercises.
ELEMENTARY
STANDARD SPANISH COURSE
  • Master somewhat more complex Spanish grammatical structures.
  • Construct and understand everyday Spanish communication situations.
  • Develop grammatical knowledge to apply to basic Spanish communication situations.
INTERMEDIATE
STANDARD SPANISH COURSE
  • More advanced Spanish grammatical structures and syntax.
  • Construct and understand communication situations, in order for the student to be able to handle everyday life without any problems.
ADVANCED
STANDARD SPANISH COURSE
  • Reinforce and perfect specific aspects of the language.
  • Perfect both Spanish written and Spanish oral expression with specific exercises.

 

TIMETABLES

 

Spanish classes are given both in the morning and in the afternoon. Students may state their preferences in the enrolment form. The final timetable will depend on availability and the preferences of the majority of the students in the group. The standard timetable is as follows:

  10.30 - 12.00   Class
Afternoon:
  15.30 - 17.00  Class
  17.00 - 17.30  Break
  17.30 - 19.00  Class

 

Spanish Culture, Literature, Spanish History and Art Courses, as well as Commercial and Tourist Spanish Courses, will be given from 13.15 to 14.00.

The timetable for Individual Spanish Language Courses will depend on the wishes of the students and the possibilities available at the Spanish school at the moment in time.

Part-Time Spanish Language Courses will be given in the afternoon, unless it can be organised for the morning.
