Prices
for
courses for 2004 are given in the section on prices of courses
and accommodation. Teaching material is included in the price
for students enrolled in intensive courses (minimum 4 weeks).
For all other students, the cost of text books has to be paid
separately.
Minimum
age for our courses is 18. Groups will have a maximum of 10
and a minimum of 3 students.
All
final certificates of attendance for any of our courses are free.
In order to qualify for one of these certificates, students have
to attend a minimum of 90% of classes for that course.
Payment
for courses shall be made as follows:
120
€. in advance as a reservation, by travellers cheques,
gyro or bank transfer, made out to Canarias Cultural: Escuela
Internacional de Español S.L. to the following bank account:

All
bank or postal charges will be paid for by the applicant. Credit
cards are not accepted.
The rest of the price of the course, once the down payment has
been deducted, must be paid within three days of the start of
the course, in the school offices.
Lodging
with families or in shared flats will be from the Sunday before
the course starts until the Saturday after the course finishes.
This
will be paid for directly to the family in question, or to the
owner of the shared flat, within three days of the course starting.
To
enrol in a course, you have to send the following to our school:
The
enrolment form duly filled in.
The
bank receipt can be sent by fax or by post, to show that the reservation
fee has been paid for in advance.
Once
everything has been received, we will confirm the place you have
applied for.
To
cancel a course, you will have to do so in writing in the
following manner:
If
a course is cancelled more than three weeks before it starts,
the school will return the down payment, less 30 €
for administrative costs.
If
cancellation is done within three weeks of a course starting,
the reservation fee will not be returned unless the student enrols
in another course in the same year.
If
a course is cancelled after it has started, the reservation fee
will not be returned in any circumstances.
There
WILL NOTbe any classes given on public holidays. These classes
will not be given on another day and there will be no financial
compensation given to students for this reason.
There
will be a non-accumulative discount of 10% on the price of
courses:
For
groups of three or more students, enrolled for the same course
and starting date.
For
former students of our school.
If
a student commits a serious act that brings the image, action
and integrity of the school into disrepute, said student will
be immediately expelled.
